Perfect summer weather helped kick off this years Annual Level Cross Rodeo. With a slight rain, a pleasing breeze and lowering tempretures lead to an exceptional Saturday night Rodeo.
The crowds started on Friday with a healthy nuimber of 500 plus and Saturday peaked around 1500 plus to cath all of the nights entertainment.
Rodeo clown " Porkchop" preformed an interesting entertaining act both nights which included a bicycle give-a-way to a lucky youngster that did not have one. Just think, what would happen to the world, if everyone preformed an act of kindness like this. Afterwards, a collection was taken to purchase another bicycle for the next rodeo.
Rodeo participants preformed with skill and courage as they compete for the nights winning score. Both animals and participants exchanged wins all weekend which lead to some great action.
We at Level Cross would like to than everyone involved that made this rodeo what it was. A complete success. We would like to thank the fans, if it wasn;t for them, we would not be able to bring such an event to Level Cross for the last 24 years and keeping the tradition strong.
